Job Description
Entry level position: Full/Part time
Pay rate: $16.00 - $18.00 depending on experience
Job Description: (including but not limited to…)
· Greeting/Checking out patients (this includes documenting the correct coding on their insurance authorizations)
· Obtaining Insurance Authorizations
· Scheduling patients properly
· Answering a multi-line phone system/Returning voicemail messages
· Pre-testing patients with Ophthalmic Instruments
· Contact Lens Insert/Removal classes for new wearers
· End of day cleaning
Hours of operation:
M-Th = 9:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
F = 9:30 a.m.– 5:30 p.m.
Sa = 9:00 a.m.– 5:00 p.m.
**End times may vary, depending on scheduled patients and show rate
Dress code:
Scrubs – any solid color
Clean tennis shoes/crocs
Other:
· 90-day probationary period
· Earn PTO after 90-day probationary period
· Earn an extra $2.50 an hour on Saturdays
· Earn commission on Retinal Camera sales
· Receive 2 sets of scrubs/jacket after 90 days
