Job Description

• Perform a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard architectural skills/tasks on small projects or selected segments of a larger project
• Maintain Construction Administration logs and drawing sets
• Create diagrams and drawings to effectively communicate the design concepts
• Take existing drawings and input into Revit and/or CAD
• Print, plot, collate and assemble a drawing set
• Assist in preparation of presentations including drawings, models and reports
• Possess basic CAD and Revit skills
• Understand the importance of soft skills including verbal and written communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn is crucial, even if you may not know all of the components to a CD set

• Introduce and supervise the analyses of architectural design and materials
• Design, compile data, do area take-offs, prepare plans/renderings, models, and design presentations, and conduct materials investigations and gather samples.
• Observes design discussion about the development of elevations, plans, and sections at the schematic level.
• Develop organization and components of an SD, DD, and CD set.
• Document design and/or technical ideas generated by others
• Operate as a draftsman under the supervision of others; including, documenting existing conditions, field measurements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Design, or a related field
• 1-3 years of professional experience
• Proficiency in Revit is required
• Familiarity with other design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus
• Knowledge of construction materials
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrates collaborative and professional work ethic
