Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for highly skilled and creative video editors to edit long-form and short-form content for:

Jimmy Zhang – YouTube (Long-Form)
House of Feelings – Instagram Reels (Short-Form)

The ideal candidates should have a strong sense of storytelling, comedic timing, and fast-paced social media editing skills. Your edits must be more engaging and polished than the current ones and in line with the sample videos provided.

CONTENT BREAKDOWN

Long-Form Video Editor (Jimmy Zhang)

4-5 hours of raw footage → 30-minute polished video
4 videos per month
Must improve pacing, comedic timing, and storytelling
High-energy, engaging edits that keep viewers hooked till the end
Incorporate memes, sound effects, motion graphics, and creative cuts

30 reels/month (scaling up to 100)
$25-$30 per reel
Quick, engaging edits optimized for Instagram & TikTok

WHO YOU ARE

Experienced video editor with a strong portfolio in long-form & short-form content Able to edit multicam timelines Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve Aware of current social media & YouTube trends Skilled in meme editing, fast cuts, and attention-grabbing visuals Able to edit quickly while maintaining high quality Creative with a sharp comedic sense
