Role Overview

A strategic opportunity for an experienced Business Intelligence Manager to build and lead the internal reporting and analytics function. This role will drive the development of self-service data tools and dashboards, with a strong emphasis on data storytelling and KPI alignment across the business.

This is a hands-on, individual contributor role to start , with clear potential to evolve into a technical leadership or people management position as the team grows.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and KPI reporting tools using Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Own and scale self-service analytics tools across departments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and track critical business KPIs .
• Deliver actionable insights through clear, compelling data narratives .
• Train and support business users in accessing and interpreting data.
• Serve as the owner of the BI function , ensuring reporting is accurate, accessible, and aligned with strategic goals.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong experience with Power BI (preferred), Tableau , or other modern BI tools.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and transformation.
• Demonstrated ability to define KPIs and build scalable reporting solutions.
• Experience building and enabling self-service reporting environments .
• Clear communicator with a strong ability to tell stories through data .

• Opportunity to grow into a technical leadership or management role as the analytics function expands.
• Primary stakeholders will include Operations , with likely expansion into supply chain , labor , and other business areas.

Tech Environment

• Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools
• SQL (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, PostgreSQL)
• Exposure to cloud data platforms is a plus
