Administrative Project Assistant - 637424

Fort Worth, TX 76102 ( Local Candidates Only)

6-Month Contract-to-Hire

$21.00 – $23.10/hour (based on experience)

Onsite, Monday–Friday (No remote or hybrid options)

Position Overview

This role supports engineering and construction projects by providing administrative assistance to Project Managers and teams. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, professional office environment. You’ll be responsible for handling various project-related clerical tasks, maintaining documentation, and supporting overall project operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support for multiple projects
  • Organize and maintain project files, communication records, and document tracking systems
  • Input and manage project data and updates in internal databases
  • Generate monthly progress reports and assist in tracking project milestones
  • Prepare meeting materials, take and distribute meeting minutes
  • Handle incoming calls, mail, and general office correspondence
  • Support billing and invoice distribution
  • Assist with travel arrangements and internal service coordination
  • Prepare and send outgoing communications (mail, email, faxes, etc.)
  • Schedule and coordinate client meetings, interviews, and presentations
  • Maintain office supplies and manage inventory
  • Update project calendars, rosters, contact lists, and execution plans
  • Perform other clerical duties as assigned
  • Comply with all organizational policies and standards

Requirements

  • Education:
  • High School Diploma + 3 years relevant experience
  • OR Completed Associate’s degree + 2 years relevant experience
  • OR Completed Bachelor’s degree + 1 year relevant experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
  • Previous office or clerical experience strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Ability to multitask and handle confidential information professionally
