About the Role
We are seeking a Strategic Chief of Staff to act as a trusted advisor to the President. In this pivotal role, you will manage crucial initiatives, coordinate institutional priorities, and serve as the primary liaison between the President's office and key stakeholders. Responsibilities include overseeing the President's Leadership Class program, acting as the legislative liaison, and maintaining official records of the President's office.
Your leadership will extend to cross-departmental projects, effective communication with the Board of Regents, and the planning of high-profile university events that showcase our commitment to excellence.
If you have a Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience—preferably with a Master's in higher education administration—you could be the perfect fit. We value strong strategic planning, project management skills, and a background in policy development and implementation.
The ideal candidate will exhibit an executive presence, excel in communication, and maintain effective interactions with diverse stakeholders. A comprehensive understanding of higher education policies, compliance, and governance is essential, along with the ability to manage sensitive matters with discretion and to foster collaborative relationships.
