Overview Join to apply for the Stainless Steel TIG Welder ll role at Mettler-Toledo International, Inc . Role/Purpose: Prep work weldments from engineering drawings utilizing band saws, drill press, hand grinders, and TIG welding stainless steel. Press brake and sheet metal experience required. Can perform all duties of a Welder 1. Responsibilities Ability to assemble weldments from drawings. Fabricate sheet metal bins, enclosures, covers. Operation of a TIG welder, setup, and maintenance. Operate drill press, and band saw. Utilize hand grinders/sanders to perform grain finishing. Control raw material inventory utilizing shop routers and computer. Cut raw material per engineering drawings. Group required parts prescribed in BOM. Weld and setup sub-assemblies for welders. Follow SOP and OPLs. Knowledge, Skills, Attitude Proficient blueprint and tape measure knowledge, with attention to dimensions and tolerances. Fabrication shop practices. Capable of performing all Welder 1 tasks when necessary. Organizational proficiency. Minimum Education / Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Trade School or Apprentice Program or a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in similar position. About Mettler-Toledo A Passion for Precision.
