This innovative company, a leader in the entertainment and retail industry, seeks a talented Interaction Designer to join their team on a one-year contract (with the possibility of renewal). You will play a key role in transforming marketing and merchandising strategies into captivating interactive experiences for their North American online store. Prepare to push the boundaries of digital design, collaborating with talented teams to deliver unforgettable online shopping experiences.

What You’ll Do :

• Conceptualize and design compelling interactive experiences for the company’s website and app, aligning with global creative direction principles.
• Transform user needs into innovative design solutions, collaborating with product and engineering teams to ensure a seamless and enjoyable user journey.
• Develop wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts to leadership and stakeholders.
• Design graphics and animations for interactive elements, or guide other designers and animators in creating assets for immersive experiences.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to implement immersive digital experiences on a site platform, utilizing HTML/JavaScript/CSS coding as needed.
• Build and test prototypes to gather user feedback, iterating and refining designs based on data-driven insights.
• Leverage data and analytics to inform design decisions and measure the effectiveness of your work.
• Explore innovative approaches to enhance the e-commerce experience, with a focus on mobile and responsive design.

Must-Haves :

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of UX and UI design principles, specializing in interactive experiences.
• Ability to customize digital experiences on a site platform using HTML/JavaScript/CSS.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping software.
• Skilled in wireframing, prototyping, basic graphic design, and motion graphics animation.
• Ability to think systematically, mapping complex user journeys and designing scalable frameworks for an enterprise environment.
• Ability to influence product strategy and build consensus with stakeholders in a cross-functional setting.
• Experience bringing prototypes to life through visual design, motion design, micro-interactions, and animation.
• Ability to build consistent and accessible design systems that scale across global audiences and multiple devices.
• Proven ability to solve customer problems through measurable improvements that drive discovery and engagement.
• 6+ years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.

Nice-to-Haves :

• Experience with project management software (e.g., JIRA).
