Position Summary

This vital role is primarily responsible for tactical support of significant customer and/or other counter-party agreements; including, but not limited to, the management of a cross-functional process, and the thoughtful analysis, curation and presentation of levers, trends, risks, and other contract terms that impact profitability, cash flow and valuation. As a vital business partner to senior leaders, the analyst offers broad financial and operational expertise, displays intellectual curiosity, pro-actively investigates issues, understands important deal levers, and makes impactful recommendations. As a teammate, the analyst builds, continuously improves, and maintains models, tools and processes that serve to bolster her teammate's ability to be productive and add value and grow.

Key Responsibilities

1. Drive Key Pricing programs with our Sales Partners and other back office business partners to drive increased profitability.
2. Develop, Document, and Refine pricing policies and programs based on Market changes and Customer behavior.
3. Develops contract and customer analytics, to include relative benchmarking and financial performance profiles.
4. Become the subject matter expert in profitability levers for your specific Sales segment
5. Leverages multiple data resources and cross-functional relationships to create and curate financial projections and related sensitivities.
6. Liaises amongst internal teams and corporate leadership to develop, evaluate, and influence complex customer contracts.
7. Collaborates with other finance teams to improve the accuracy of corporate financial forecasts
8. Develops partnerships, both within and outside of finance, across multiple levels of the organization.
9. Assists with other ad-hoc analytics, projects, and requests.
10. Support the broader Pricing team.

Minimum Requirements

• Degree or equivalent and typically requires 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Typically requires 5+ years of relevant business experience in accounting, finance, finance analytics or similar experience

Critical Skills

• Detailed Financial modeling and/or analysis
• Experience creating presentations for all leadership levels, and presenting
• Experience working with large/complex data sets
• Experience working independently and still executing against key deadlines and deliverables
• Experience leading without authority
• Intermediate to advanced in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Additional Knowledge & Skills

• Pricing strategy experience
• Robust analytical and financial acumen
• Strong financial modeling experience
• Demonstrates intellectual curiosity
• SQL or similar programming language desired
• Data visualization experience, Power BI or Tableau preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Works and thinks well independently
• Attention to detail, accuracy, reconciling data
• Ability to influence without authority
• Ability to work on and prioritize multiple tasks, competing priorities and deadlines
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to work with databases, and large data sets
• CPA, CFA, MBA or Master's Degree strongly preferred, but not required

4-year degree or equivalent experience. Must be authorized to work in the US. Sponsorship is not available for this position.

We are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position $72,400 - $120,600
