Job Description

*Overview*
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial electrical work, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols. This role requires proficiency in using various hand and power tools, as well as the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).

*Duties*

* Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with NEC standards.
* Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters to ensure proper functionality.
* Work on low voltage and high voltage systems as required.
* Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
* Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to ensure timely project completion.
* Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or necessary repairs.
* Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively while adhering to all safety protocols on construction sites.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

*Experience*

* Proven experience as an Electrician in both residential and commercial settings is preferred.
* Familiarity with low voltage and high voltage systems is a plus.
* Strong knowledge of NEC regulations and safety standards related to electrical work.
* Experience with blueprint reading and schematic interpretation is essential.
* Background in construction site experience is highly desirable.
* Ability to use various hand tools, power tools, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment effectively.
* Frame carpentry skills are a nice-to-have but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
