Proofreader BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Proofreader in Arizona (Remote) Job Title: Proofreader Duration: 6 months Location: Arizona (Remote) Anticipated Start Date: ASAP (Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.) Job Type: Contract (40 hrs. a week) Pay Range: $28.00hr to $30/hr (Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). SHIFT: EST time zone 8/830-1 (flexible) Part-time temp only Job Responsibilities: Reviewing & correcting written and electronic communications for spelling, formatting and grammar (e.g., syntax and punctuation) errors. Comparing typeset drafts to original copies to ensure that they match. Checking text for style, readability, and adherence to client-specific Copywriting Style Guide. Ensuring all revisions and corrections have been made prior to submission for client approval. Using Adobe and/or MS Word to annotate documents. Facilitating review between team members using TFS application. Must be able to work in fast-paced environment and meet time-sensitive deliverables.
