UPMC Muncy Place , a skilled nursing facility in Muncy, PA, is hiring a Professional Staff Nurse for a 40-hour work week , with shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM , including every other holiday and weekend rotation. The nurse will be responsible for delivering quality nursing care, collaborating with the Unit Manager and other healthcare professionals, and applying clinical knowledge to achieve positive care outcomes. The role requires assessing and interpreting resident data to meet age-specific needs and ensuring relevant care throughout the lifespan.

Job Qualifications:

    Experience:

    \n
      \n
    • Long-term care experience preferred.
    • \n
    • BSN preferred.
    • \n
    \n

  • \n

    Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

    \n
      \n
    • \n
        \n
      • CPR certification required within 30 days of hire, based on AHA standards.
      • \n
      • Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
      • \n
      • Registered Nurse (RN) or Temporary Practice Permit (TPP).
      • \n
      • Act 34 and OAPSA clearances.
      • \n
      • Current licensure in the state where the facility is located, or a multistate license if covered by the Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC). Employees with an out-of-state NLC license must apply for state licensure within 60 days of changing residency.
