Product Strategy Director, Clinical Solutions - Cigna Healthcare - Hybrid

Position Summary

The role owns the product execution and strategy for Cigna medicals low acuity and wellness solutions, including well-being, digestive health, cardiac strategies, and solution suites such as Personify Healths Well-being solution, Your Health First Coaching, Oshi, HeartHealth, Nourish, Foodsmart, Motivate ME, Health Advisor, Healthy Rewards, Active & Fit, among others.

This role encompasses the entire product lifecycle, from strategy and development to launch and ongoing maintenance. The role requires collaboration across functions with partners in Clinical, Sales, GTM, Network, Contracting, and Evernorth.

The position has two direct reports and a total team of four. The candidate must work independently, be passionate about wellness, innovative, and grounded in financial and results-oriented management and innovation approaches.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Product Strategy & Innovation: Define product capabilities and competitive positioning. Lead enterprise thinking on clinical solutions, and guide the development of new solutions leveraging enterprise assets.
2. Product Launch: Oversee market needs assessment, business planning, SME support, go-to-market strategies, and training. Lead organization through complex launches.
3. Cross-Functional Leadership: Manage and coordinate with pharmacy, medical, clinical, financial, and provider teams, fostering collaboration among stakeholders.
4. Execution: Ensure timely delivery of products and enhancements, overseeing technical development, requirements, and documentation.
5. Market & Competitive Analysis: Conduct routine analysis to identify customer needs and market trends.
6. Product Enhancements: Gather feedback, assess business cases, and prioritize new features.
7. Product Value & Performance: Drive product adoption, marketing, sales training, monitor KPIs, and resolve performance issues.

Technical Skill Requirements

• 15+ years in product strategy, management, and launch
• 10+ years in healthcare

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Leadership, influence, and innovation skills
• Financial acumen
• Mentoring ability
• Change management experience

Core Competencies

• Leadership, strategic thinking, organizational savvy, customer focus, results orientation, team building

Technical/Functional Competencies

• Strategy execution, visioning, business development, project management, vendor oversight
