Office Administrator & Marketing Assistant

Contract to Hire

ONSITE 5 days a week

We're looking for a versatile and dedicated Office Administrator & Marketing Assistant to join a small, dynamic team with a Robert Half client!! If you're ready to settle into a long-term role and become an integral part of a growing company, we want to hear from you.

Our office is conveniently located right off the highway making your commute a breeze.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to wear multiple hats and contribute significantly to our daily operations and marketing efforts. We're a close-knit group of about a dozen people across the Southeast, with 3-4 team members in the Sunrise office. We sell directly to boat distributors, which means you'll gain exposure to the exciting boating industry!

Key Responsibilities

Office Administration:

  • Oversee daily office operations, including scheduling, correspondence, and record-keeping.
  • Manage office supplies and equipment, ensuring smooth functionality.
  • Coordinate meetings, events, and travel arrangements.
  • Assist with basic financial records and principal relations.
  • Handle general office upkeep and ordering necessary items.

Marketing:

  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote our company, with a focus on the boating industry.
  • Create engaging content for social media, newsletters, and promotional materials.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the boating sector.
  • Collaborate with the team to enhance branding and outreach strategies.
  • Work alongside another team member to balance creative marketing efforts, particularly in developing promotional materials.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: Proven experience in office management and marketing roles.
  • Boating Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with or experience in the boating industry is highly preferred.
  • Creativity: Some Canva experience is a plus!
  • Independence: Someone who thrives with less structure and can take initiative.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to multitask and maintain organization.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are a must.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing tools.
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Long-Term Commitment: We're seeking someone ready to grow with us for the long haul.

Work Environment

You'll be working 5 days a week in our Sunrise office, playing a crucial role in maintaining an efficient and supportive work environment.
