Salary: Starting at $16.50/hour

Summary:

The Maintenance Crew Member is the entry into grounds maintenance
at Badger State Maintenance. Maintenance Crew Member must have a positive, can-do attitude, be an eager learner, be conscious of safety requirements, work effectively as a team member, dress appropriately, be punctual, and follow all instructions given by the Maintenance Field Supervisor.

Role and Responsibilities

• Look and carry yourself in a presentable manner.

• Follow all instructions given by the Maintenance Field Supervisor.

• Thoroughly understands and complies with company policy and safety manual.

• Weeding beds, mulching landscaping, dethatching, aeration, seeding, leaf clean up and various tasks related to landscape maintenance.

• Properly and safely operate equipment such as Stick Edger, Hedge Trimmers and push/ stand on mower, power wheel barrow.

• Able to report to work by 6:45 AM- 5:00PM (sometimes longer or occasionally weekend work.)

• Is a willing learner who seeks to master the basic skills of lawn maintenance.

• Reports to work in a clean, appropriate uniform and wearing the appropriate boots.

• Able to communicate with supervisor in a timely and thorough manner.

• Completes assigned tasks efficiently, thoroughly, and per company production rates.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work outdoors in various conditions including snow, sleet, rain, humidity and heat.

• Ability to lift 40lbs repeatedly through an entire work shift.
