Junior UX Designer

Location: 5 days a week onsite in Coppell, TX

Duration: ~ 6 Months

Schedule: 40 hours a week

Hourly Rate:  up to $30 an hour/ DOE

Our large Retail client, is looking for a Junior UX Designer for a 40 hour a week, ~ 6 month role. This role requires 5 days a week onsite at headquarters in Coppell, TX.

The ideal Junior UX Designer has strong illustration skills to accompany workflows.

Junior UX Designer Responsibilities:

• Create, design, edit, and resize visual assets for various digital platform projects.



• Develop and maintain illustrations and animations for the corporate design system.



• Work cross-functionally with product managers, content strategists, researchers, and designers to make sure the assets delivered meet the brief and brand.



• Ensure that designs delivered meet usability standards and accessibility standards.



• Manage workflows and assigned projects to make sure they meet deadlines set forth.



• Bring design trends to the forefront and ideate on how they could be applied to the design systems.



• Take complex ideas and translate them into icons, illustrations, pictograms, and even light motion graphics.

Junior UX Qualifications:

• 0-2 years' experience working.



• Bachelor's degree.



• Portfolio link and samples!



• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite.



• Experience with Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
