Jack in the Box - TEAM MEMBER at Giants Baseball & Softball Camps Position Type: Full-time Overview Position summary: Responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience by consistently providing excellent service, great tasting/quality food, and a clean restaurant environment for all guests by performing one or more workstations in accordance with Jack in the Box procedures, systems, and standards, and 20/20 guest expectations. Responsibilities Guest service: Always says YES to the guest, helps solve problems with the team, and follows the 3-steps (Listen, Say Sorry, Make it Right) as appropriate, using Jack in the Box Smart Selling standards. Answer guest questions quickly and accurately; stay prepared and calm during busy times without appearing rushed. Maintain neat and professional appearance according to uniform and grooming standards; ensure shirts are tucked, hair contained, and uniforms clean and unwrinkled. Contribute to a well-staffed operation by maintaining cleanliness, being organized, asking for help when needed, and supporting co-workers as a team player. Ensure food quality, presentation, and temperature standards are met; help with fast, consistent service and order accuracy. Follow food safety policies, hand washing and glove procedures. Represent the brand with pride and inspire others to embrace the Jack in the Box culture. Focus on the guest: engage with guests warmly, anticipate needs, and handle complaints by saying YES to the guest and doing what is right. Work as part of a team in front of the house and back of house, performing duties across different areas as assigned. Qualifications Experience : Guest service or food cook/preparation experience helpful; comfortable in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities : Must be at least 16 years old. Clear English communication; ability to read, understand, and perform basic math; ability to multi-task and work effectively in a team. May require another language based on location. Physical Requirements : Ability to stand/walk ~90-95% of shift; lift/carry 15-25 lbs; listen to orders, operate a cash register, read video monitors.
