POSITION DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking experienced Full Stack Developers to support large-scale enterprise applications for the NYC Department of Education. This is a multi-year, full-time role (hybrid in NYC) focused on building, enhancing, and maintaining mission-critical systems across budgeting, enterprise applications, and vendor portals. Developers will work with DOE stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and integrated solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications across front-end and back-end.
Build APIs, integrations, and reporting tools to streamline DOE business processes.
Ensure system security, data integrity, and compliance with DOE and government standards.
Participate in Agile development cycles: requirements gathering, coding, testing, and deployment.
Support modernization efforts (cloud migration, microservices, DevOps, automation).
Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and DOE stakeholders to ensure adoption and performance.
8+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer working on large-scale enterprise application
Proven track record with public sector or enterprise-scale IT projects preferred.
Experience developing applications in Microsoft .NET environments and integrating with CRM and enterprise systems.
Back-End : .NET Core, ASP.NET, SQL Server, APIs, Microservices, Azure Data Factory.
Front-End : JavaScript, jQuery, Angular, React.js, HTML5, CSS3.
Cloud & DevOps : Azure, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, automated deployments.
Data & Reporting : SQL Queries, Power BI, advanced reporting frameworks.
CRM & Integration : Salesforce.com and third-party system integrations.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and iterative delivery.
Ability to design for scalability, security, and cross-platform compatibility (mobile, web, and enterprise).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
