Play a key role in producing corporate events and serve as the event planner for assigned internal departmental meetings, events, recognition items, and team building activities. Responsibilities Serve as the Event Planner for assigned special events. Lead designated Employee Appreciation events, including but not limited to Manufacturing Month, Driver’s Appreciation, Professional Support Staff Recognition, etc. Coordinate event logistics, including site selection, food & beverage, vendor management (caterers, entertainment, transportation, etc.), and on-site operations. Develop unique and engaging events; manage travel bookings and tracking spreadsheets. Coordinate registration, nametags, programs, seating charts, and presentation/materials support. Manage event budgets and perform budget reconciliation. Research and identify options for activities as requested; create and distribute employee surveys to gather feedback. Collaborate with Internal Communications and other partners to align on budgets, item selection, and distribution methods. Support major corporate events (e.g., Company Festival, Retiree Luncheon, Sales Meeting, Service Awards Banquet) including invitation design, vendor vetting, and comprehensive logistics. Assist with team and company-wide meetings and outings of varying sizes (venue research, RFPs, proposals, negotiation, and logistics). Create and manage a shared event resource with a centralized vendor and venue database for company-wide use; act as primary point of contact for internal users. Provide ongoing support to the Special Events/Travel Manager and events team, including travel reports, recognition programs, merchandise support, and ad hoc projects. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university. 3-5 years of related events experience. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, mail merges, and web searches.
