If you join our team as an Entry-Level Seasonal Tax Preparer , you'll conduct one-on-one tax interviews with clients, start to develop your book of business, and provide exceptional customer service. Tax Preparer candidates may have:

• 1 or 2 years of previous work experience in customer service, administrative support, accounting or another relevant field.
• Some candidates may have worked only 1 or a few previous tax seasons in this role.
• Doing your own taxes will count as experience.

Responsibilities often include:

• Collect relevant financial records, including pay stubs and income statements
• Input data from financial records into tax return software or databases
• Use tax software to determine how much each client will pay or earn on the return
• Use tax software to complete and file tax documents with appropriate agencies, IRS and state government entities
• Building customer relationships to promote and expand the business
