We’re looking for a skilled Email Marketing Specialist with a strong background in graphic design to join our Nashville-based team.

Position Overview

This role is ideal for someone who has a strong background in graphic design and experience building email campaigns. You will be responsible for designing and deploying daily email campaigns and creating automated email journeys that increase engagement, drive sales, and promote cross-selling opportunities. You will report to the Senior Director of Brand Management and collaborate closely with the merchandising and digital teams.

Key Responsibilities

Email Design and Deployment

• Design, build, and send daily promotional emails using email best practices
• Create custom graphics and visual assets for emails, aligned with brand guidelines
• Develop and maintain automated campaigns such as cart abandonment, product recommendations, and post-purchase flows

Campaign Optimization

• Monitor and report on campaign performance including open rates, click-through rates, and conversion metrics
• Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, visuals, calls to action, and send times
• Implement improvements based on data-driven insights to increase effectiveness

Automation and Cross-Selling Strategy

• Set up automated email flows based on user behavior and purchase history
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and incorporate them into email strategy
• Collaborate with merchandising to align email content with sales priorities and inventory

Multi-Channel Integration

• Assist with SMS/MMS campaign planning and execution
• Ensure email and SMS messaging is consistent with ongoing marketing campaigns across web, social, and paid channels

Tools and Platforms

· Email Marketing Platforms: Advanced experience with email marketing automation platforms such as Listrak or Klaviyo is required. Must be comfortable building, segmenting, and deploying both daily campaigns and complex automated flows. Deep understanding of customer segmentation, personalization, and behavior-based triggers to build automated flows that drive conversion, retention, and cross-selling opportunities.

· Adobe Creative Suite: Proficiency in Photoshop is required for designing visually compelling emails. Experience with Illustrator and InDesign is a plus.

· Figma: Familiarity with Figma is preferred, especially for collaborative design and rapid prototyping.

· Microsoft Office Suite: Strong skills in Excel for campaign tracking and list management, and PowerPoint for reporting and presenting campaign performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

As a key member of the marketing team, this role will also contribute to broader brand and campaign initiatives. You will assist in providing feedback on website design, brand messaging, and other aspects of our overall marketing efforts to ensure consistency and alignment across all customer touchpoints.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in email marketing with a strong design portfolio
• Strong visual design skills with attention to detail and brand consistency
• Experience creating automated email journeys and working with behavioral data
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Must currently reside in the Nashville, TN area. This is an in-person position and relocation is not being considered.
