Summary: The child life specialist contributes to excellent patient experience by assessing, educating, preparing and supporting patients and families in the health care system. The child life specialist collaborates with other health care providers, as well as the community, to promote growth and development and facilitate positive adjustment for patients and families throughout the health care experience.
