A. Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced, full-time CDL-A Yard Jockey in Bridgeport, CT. There is a $2500.00 Sign on Bonus. As a Dedicated Jockey you will be moving trucks from the yard to the building and back; maneuvering trucks into loading or unloading positions as needed.

Start Time: Is between 12:00 and 2:00PM , Monday to Friday, must be able to cover other shifts as needed

Pay Rate: $26.75 per hour

$2500.00 Sign on Bonus

Must have at least 12 months recent CDL-A Flatbed trailer experience.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Moving trailers around the terminal to various locations
• Maneuvering the truck into loading and or unloading positions
• Visually inspecting trailers and or trucks after and after moving each
• Connecting tractors to trailers
• Assisting with the unloading and loading of freight as needed
• Maintaining documentation of each trailer moved throughout the assigned shift

To be qualified for this position, you must possess the following:

• Class A CDL
• Minimum 1 year of recent CDL-A experience, flatbed type trailer experience.
• Previous Jockey or Switcher experience (preferred)
• Currently hold, or obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older
• No more than three moving violations and or accidents within the last three years, subject to review
• Ability to communicate effectively; must be able to read, write and speak English
• Must be able to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance
