Job Title: Business Office Manager Healthcare Finance & Operations
Location: Hauppauge, NY
 Job Summary: 
 We're seeking a dynamic Business Office Manager to oversee healthcare business office operations including accounts payable, billing, patient registration, finance, insurance verification, and monthly closing/reporting tasks. You'll lead, train, and evaluate a dedicated office team while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and supporting quality improvement initiatives. 
Key Responsibilities:
Manage healthcare business office staff: hire, train, set goals, and evaluate performance
Oversee revenue cycle (scheduling, insurance verification, coding, billing, cash management, collections)
Handle all accounts payable, financial closure, and reporting
Ensure compliance with state/federal policies and company standards
Communicate effectively with clinical staff, management, and other departments
Set and track office objectives and metrics
Foster a healthy work environment and model professional behavior
Incorporate patient satisfaction/quality data into office goals
Identify and solve process issues impacting financial goals or patient care
Support human resources management of business office staff
Collaborate for system/process efficiency
Other related duties as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in business or healthcare administration
Minimum 3 years experience running a medical office (accounts payable, revenue cycle, finance)
Strong knowledge of healthcare billing and Medicare Part B claims
Experience with financial documentation, standards, and HR management
Leadership ability, strong ethics, and track record of reliability
Preferred:
Master's degree (MBA, MHA, etc.)
Experience in Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) operations
