Job Summary The Business Intelligence Developer position requires a dedication to producing high-quality output and proactive involvement in the successful delivery of Business Intelligence systems. The Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for designing and implementing database systems that support BI/reporting needs. Candidates should have thorough knowledge of data warehousing, Business Intelligence tools, and ETL systems. They must understand business needs and technical capabilities to align BI solutions with business growth objectives. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in a related field or 2-4 years of experience. Familiarity with industry concepts, practices, and procedures. 2+ years of experience in IT, Business, or Government industry preferred. Summary of Essential Job Functions Design and recommend solutions to meet various requirements. Convert business requirements into technical specifications for projects. Develop reporting and analysis tools to enhance business efficiency. Translate business needs into technical database solutions. Propose logical solutions and data fixes. Collaborate with project managers, directors, and business representatives. Work with SMEs and support teams for optimal solutions. Retrieve data from available sources, working with large datasets. Intermediate skills in data analysis, profiling, and data quality. Design solutions considering existing constraints. Additional Minimum Requirements Knowledge of Business Intelligence solutions and database best practices. Experience with Object/Relational mapping and ETL principles. Proficiency with Microsoft BI Stack (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS). Intermediate SQL skills preferred. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Strategic thinking and innovative problem-solving. Data requirements gathering and documentation skills. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Preferred Technical Skills Data analysis and profiling. Data modeling and integration strategies. Data warehousing methodologies. Abilities Required High attendance and punctuality. Handling multiple tasks concurrently. Sitting for extended periods. Working under strict deadlines.
