JOB DESCRIPTION

Assist in design, development and improve manufacturing processes of new or existing product by
building and testing of prototype and low volume vehicles and electro-mechanical devices.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Assists the engineering department with regard to product design to resolve product difficulties.
 Maintains material stock and inventories and advises material requisitions. Inspect, diagnose
repair and/or replace vehicle\device operating system (Thermal systems, powertrain, suspension,
brakes etc.)
 Operate a vehicle lift
 Experience installation wiring harnesses and thermal hose systems
 Experience in building and servicing mechatronic systems
 Experience in working with PCBAs
 Experience in soldering (PCBAs, harness, etc.)
 Experience performing, and the use of power tools required, to modify sheet metal and plastic
components; this includes A-surface components
 Ability to view and interpret CAD images; basic PC skills required
 General knowing of interior and exterior vehicle assembly, service, and aftermarket modifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
 4 years’ experience in an automotive environment, preferred.
 Experience working in a team environment is highly desired.
 Ability to lead a team of people
 Excellent oral and written communication skills.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
 High School Diploma or equivalent
 Associates Degree preferred
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS:
 Ability to obtain and maintain a Hi-lo license, crane operator license.
 Welding certification required.
 Journeyman or Apprenticeship preferred
