Job Overview:We are seeking a talented and motivated Aerospace Engineer to join our dynamic team in Sierra Vista, Arizona. This role will play a critical part in the design, development, and testing of aerospace systems, satellites, etc. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with a strong background in aerospace engineering, a passion for space exploration, and a desire to contribute to a fast-paced, innovative startup environment.Key Responsibilities:•Design, analyze, and test aerospace components and systems for the proprietary aerospace platform, including structural, propulsion, and avionics subsystems.•Conduct simulations and modeling to optimize vehicle performance, aerodynamics, and orbital mechanics.•Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, mechanical, and electrical engineers, to integrate systems and ensure mission success.•Support prototype development, fabrication, and testing in both lab and field environments.•Perform data analysis from tests and missions to drive design improvements and validate performance.•Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and mission requirements.•Contribute to technical documentation, including design reports, test plans, and system specifications.Qualifications:•Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).•3+ years of experience in aerospace engineering, with a focus on spacecraft, launch vehicles, or satellite systems.•Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB, STK).•Strong understanding of orbital mechanics, aerodynamics, propulsion systems, and structural analysis.•Experience with hardware testing, including environmental, vibration, and thermal vacuum testing.•Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., NASA, FAA, MIL-STD) and regulatory requirements.•Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.•Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for technical documentation and collaboration.•U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required due to ITAR regulations.
